Each activity includes a teacher's guide, activity page and suggestions for presentions. The activities were prepared in MSWord so you can adapt them to your specific class needs.

An Ordinary Hero - In this activity the students will learn about ordinary people whose heroic actions made them special. They will be asked to write or present to the class a description of their "ordinary hero".
Animal World - In this activity the students will be introduced to some of the endangered and threatened animals and their habitats in different continents around the world. They will be asked to present information to the class about the animal, its habitat, why it is endangered and how to improve its situation.
Are Fairy Tales, Legends and Myths Meant Only For Young Children? - In this activity the students are going to read fairy tales, legends and myths from around the world.
Bedtime Stories - In this activity the students will discuss the bedtime stories they were told as children and find out what makes a good bedtime story. They will be asked to compare and contrast the themes and characteristics of these stories, and read some modern and classical stories online.
Biography - The students will be asked to prepare a biographical timeline that shows the highlights of that person's life, including a brief biography, pictures and a personal reflection on how that person has influenced society and / or the student's life.
Birthdays Are Special - The students will be asked to compare their personality traits, special abilities and interests, in order to find similarities or differences between their famous birthday partners and themselves.
Buildings Are Tall - In this activity the students will practise using comparative and superlative adjectives by comparing and contrasting the sizes of actual buildings and skyscrapers throughout the world.
Bullying - In this activity the students are going to read true stories and poems written by students from other countries about being bullied. They will be asked to react to these stories and poems, as well as submit an online response.
Camping in the Negev - In this activity the students will choose a campsite in the Negev and plan a three-day itinerary including suggested treks, sites and prices for travel, supplies and lodgings.
Compare Two Countries - Some countries in the world may have large areas of land with small populations, while other countries have large populations but little land. In this activity the students are going to compare various aspects of two countries.
Dangerous Jobs - The students will read about jobs around the world that are dangerous. They will prepare a poster or multimedia presentation about one job and a speech explaining why the student thinks he/she would be qualified or not for this job.
Did It Happen in Your Lifetime? - The students will be asked to identify the year historical events happened and whether these events happened in their lifetime and or in their parents' lifetime.
Famous Local Landmarks - In this activity the students will choose a landmark from their community, research its history and find out what makes it so special.
Computer Crime and Cybercrime - In this activity the students are going to learn about cybercrime, why schools must protect themselves from computer thieves, and how and why schools must make rules to prevent both. In this activity the class will prepare an Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) for their class or school.
Food, Food and More Food - In this activity the students will learn about specific customs and foods associated with different cultures.
How Much Should You Eat? - The students will learn about the food groups and good eating habits. They will prepare a healthy menu.
Is There Something Hidden in The Food Label? - The students will be asked to prepare for a debate or a presentation about the correct labeling of packaged food.
Fun at the Museum - The students will prepare a brochure for a museum from somewhere around the world, highlighting the special features of that museum.
Funny Crimes - In this activity the students will read real-life funny crime stores. They will prepare a radio or television news report or write a short newspaper article about it.
Headlines Don't Always Tell the Story - In this activity the students will read funny headlines from actual newspapers, identify what the articles should be about, and write articles according to what the headlines actually state.
Hoax or Real? - In this activity the students will read about a hoax that actually happened and report what was the hoax, who created it and why.
Today's Horoscope and the Newspaper - In this activity the students will learn about their zodiac signs and will compare and contrast what different media say about their horoscopes for that day. They will discuss whether or not they believe what the horoscope says.
Can You Keep a Secret? - The students will discuss and identify different attitudes toward keeping secrets. The students will explain the difficulty but necessity of keeping secrets.
Inventions - Scavenger Hunts - The students will scan an Internet site to answer questions about inventors and inventions.
I was Robbed! - In this activity the students will fill in a report about a robbery.
Job Search - In this activity the students will prepare a resumé and use a job search website to look for a job.

Kids Can Be Ecologists - In this activity the students will learn what ecology is and what an ecologist does to help the environment. The students will be asked to describe an environmental problem in their community and suggest how to solve it.
Mobile Phone Etiquette - In this activity the students will conduct a survey among their classmates, teachers and other adults to see who has better mobile phone etiquette.
Modern Communication Acronyms - In this activity the students will learn some of the more common acronyms used in email messages, chats and sms messages, and what they mean.
My Birthday in History - In this activity the students will find out about historical events which took place on the day or in the year they were born. They will be asked to prepare the front page of a newspaper depicting the historical events or important people born on their birth date or in the year they were born.
Murphy's Law - The students will read stories that represent the concept of Murphy's Law and present personal real-life experiences that reflect it.
Music Reflects the Times - In this activity the students will select a popular musical group or musicians, choose lyrics to one song, identify important events that happened in the musicians’ lifetime, and reflect on the effect these events may have had on the musicians and their music.
A Reason to Build Walls - In this activity the students will learn about a famous wall somewhere in the world. They will do research to find out who built it, its original purpose, and its purpose today.
Saving Animals - In this activity the students will learn about how people use and abuse animals, as well as ways to protect them from abuse.
Slanglish - In this activity the students will learn about slang expressions in English. They will rewrite a letter that uses slang expressions and then write a letter to a friend.
Sports Treasure Hunt - In this activity the students will be doing a treasure hunt to find out information about sports, superstitions, animal athletes and more.
To Blog or Not to Blog- In this activity the students will discuss the positive and negative aspects of blogging. They will start their own blog and add comments to their classmates' blogs.
Travel Brochure - In this activity the students will prepare a travel brochure about a country or city they would like to visit.
Wacky Invention- In this activity the students will be looking at drawings of inventions which received patents, many of which are both useless and strange.
We Didn't Start The Fire - In this activity the students will listen to the song "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel. They will learn about different historical events in the 20th century and explore how these events influenced other events and history.
Where Do You Get Information? - In this activity the students are going to conduct a survey to find out the different ways people get information.
